Hi! I'm Sahana, a junior at William Mason High School.

I've had a passion for words since I was young, leading me to join Power of The Pen, an Ohio writing competition for middle schoolers.

I qualified for the State Tournament in 2021 and 2022, earning the 2021 Platinum Pen Award.

My work was published in the Book of Winners, and I had the privilege of meeting authors like Jasmine Warga to learn from professionals in the field!

My love for spelling began when I participated in my first spelling bee as a 3rd grader. I continued to win my school bee in 5th - 8th grade!

I was inspired to pursue competing, and after a few years, I qualified for the Scripps National Spelling Bees of 2021 and 2022, placing top 10 in the nation for 2022!
